Anxiety and Depression Triggered by Environment can be challenging to cope with. |
|
|
While there can be biochemical
imbalances that are
factors in these mental and emotional illnesses, there are
some environmental triggers that can give rise to nervous anxiety and
debilitating depression in people, including but not limited to the
music they listen to. |

|
You may have had a life event, such as the loss of a loved one, a divorce, or disruptive changes in the work or home, trigger depression. You may have specific fears that trigger anxiety because you have lost your natural ability to trust either due to environmental or other life conditions. While you cannot change the environment outside of you, you can change how you perceive them, and how you may be impacted by them.
One helpful tool is to believe that you
are bigger than the fear, meaning
you have the ability to
overcome the perceived loss, the divorce, the disruption, etc. To believe
this is in alignment with the
truth of you. You are infinitely
powerful and therefore bigger than any of these environmental
triggers, problems, etc. The
love of self makes you even greater than anxiety and
depression. |
